Someone once wrote, "why comes tribulation and temptation, but for man to meet and master and make crouch beneath his foot. And in so doing be pedestaled in triumph".

There is no fight harder or tougher than the one against institutionalized racism, bigotry, and chauvinist systems subtly operated by the University of California at Berkeley, the defeat of which there is no sweeter triumph.

This is a very ugly situation, I don't know much about this two professors but this calls for more than mere side gossip.

The court filing on this case is very extensive. All in all, the University err big time. Poor thing, he doesn’t even have the money for an attorney. I think the first step was for the University to reinstate him to graduate standing before asking for a retake of the examination. Since the University failed in this regard, there is substantial chance that he was intentionally ran aground as he claimed. On the other hand, his inability to afford tuition and fees may have influenced the University’s decision.
It seems the Civil Engineering department did not really want this student in their program from the word go. Honestly, I don’t know what to make of Professor Bea; he may have a longer run with the law after this case is over.

I was in Court and I heard this young man’s argument. From listening to the parties’ oral argument, it doesn’t take much to decide he was severely wronged. However, it was very obvious the judge was going to kick him out of Court.

Kiki, this country is hard on people. You cannot stop them, just waiting for justice is vanity. The people here don't give a shit of any foreigner.
