Entry for April 1, 2008

Please permit me to borrow a leaf from the wise. Every human mind is a great slumbering power until awakened by a keen desire and by definite resolution to do. I felt an earnest and humble desire, and shall do till I die, to eradicate bigotry and beat down debauchery until the black man is free from the tyrannical whims of the white supremacists.

In the Month of April 2008, please join me to remind the University of California at Berkeley that bigotry and dehumanization of people of color is old fashioned and has no place in modern world. In reality no man is superior to the other, except in the fuzzy views of those infested with an incurable illusory aberration and myopism of the mind, that is, the chauvinists.

Thank You!

I am not surprised that a black doctorate student got thrown out of Berkeley Civil Engineering. The supremacists probably applied the principle that their forefathers built the school for the generations of their own kind, but they forgot it was built on the sweat of our fore- bearers. Obviously, a black doctorate student is a thorn in the flesh of those arrogant white professors. This case is bad but not the worst of them all, this is not beyond my expectation. This case is different because a fearless person stood up to challenge the wicked and corrupt Neo-Nazi systems that control America elite ivory towers.
This is America where the powerful and the prosperous trample on the rights of the lowly, the majority of whites by virtue of their skin color and other physical features arrogate public powers to themselves, abuse those powers, manipulate the justice systems against the blacks, outclass, stereotype, and oppress the black people as inferior and undeserved of any “good thing”. I can only say more power to you and good luck with your quest for fairness.

So bad UC Berkeley can descend so low…….what is Robert Bea and Iris Tommelein still doing teaching at Berkeley? Seems to me UC supports every bit of their actions. If we turn the situation around and Iris Tommelein and Robert Bea were to be black professors I am sure UCB would have fired them by now or have them suspended.

So much quacking about UC Berkeley being a libertarian society. Even the bigotry of George Orwell’s Animal Farm embraces diversity better.

Sick minded people do sick things, Iris and Bob are no exceptions. Maybe they forgot their sanity in their heap of research papers!

The University did not only fail to provide this student an advisor, there is a big case of breach of procedure, fraud, and first class national origin discrimination. Can someone please ask Iris Tommelein to brush up her grading skills?

Kiki, so sorry that his happened to you. You may want to go read Conflict in the House: Interethnic Conflict as Change Agent, Change as Conflict Instigator by Ernest W. Walker published in the journal of Negro Education, Vol. 68, No. 4 (Fall 199) by Howard University.

I am sure you will understand more about America and their basic stereotyping of black people. You are poweress against this giant bigots, but there could be miracles if we believe. Don't get weary, be strong brother!

I know you may be feeling overwhelmed, but my thoughts are with you. Please don't hesitate to call if you need a witness. I know your friends Kofi and Marcia will support Bea but don't worry; you never can tell who gets your back.
Those EPM professor are so flooded upstairs, it is time for them to purge.

Probably one of the worse acts of the century, so bad the laws and the courts are created by the white people for the white people. A very fraudulent and perverse generation.

Is there anyone out there who can help? There is a gang up to toss this case on by end of April. I overhead a rank and file discussion today, the current plan is to leave the debt collection allegation while they toss the main theme of his discrimination case. It is quite unfortunate to see the Court siding with UC Berkeley in this matter. Is there ever going to be justice for a black man in America?

Wait a minute, don’t you call this a Kangaroo Court yet. The end of April is around the corner, let’s wait and see. Even if this turn out to be a Kangaroo arrangement, no amount of Court assisted character laundry will remove the stain already created. I strongly believe that the Court will not be that daring as to make a mockery of the judiciary and the judicial system, or make any decisions that will jeopardize the strength of California and United States laws. The discrimination and dehumanization alleged by this man is very glaring, it can no longer be easily swept under any judicial carpet.

Those professors at Berkeley Civil and Environmental Engineering forgot they were dealing with the live and future of a fellow human being like themselves. They failed to treat this particular student with the kind of dignity and respect that is deserved of human life. So bad this is a predominant white society, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are let off the hook.

May those who played the tune of bigotry dance naked in it to their own shame.

Kiki, I pray for you ceaselessly, this is an international case, my hope is that Judge Miller will not let them off the hook just because they are white, or for any reasons akin to protecting the California or American interest.

I have read the demurrer and the opposition to the demurrer on the Court DomainWeb. At this time I can only say Shame on UC Berkeley for spending so much time to defend two professors that should have been fired. In my own opinion, Iris Tommelein and Robert Bea are not any better than Adolf Hitler; they are probably a notch worse than the Northern Korean despot. It is so sad that the so much touted freedom and rule of law does not really have a place in America

I have read and heard so many theories about this matter, some has been very close and a lot are just what they are, “wide guesses”. As this matter continues to grow in different directions, I believe it is time to set the records straight and provide people the right issues to tackle. Don’t expect me to expatiate or provide my identification, I still work for the graduate division.
1. Kiki was grudgingly admitted to Berkeley. So Kiki you were right on the money when you alleged someone tried to block your admission ,
2. Despite the admission, the CEE department never expected Kiki to attend Berkeley; his arrival was greeted with so much surprise and animosity. It not uncommon for the University to make such unwanted admissions, particularly to Black Students,
3. I dislike how Professor Bea left him hanging during the fall semester of 2003; Kiki was not provided an advisor while Professor Bea was on Sabbatical leave in the fall semester of 2003,
4. Kiki was widely considered a huge joke and a fraud; the University and CEE Department monitored his emails, kept an electronic tab on his computer and broke into his computer severally, monitored every move of his and even have to disconnect the pay phone that was by 407 MCL building where he normally makes long distance calls. Unfortunately, the report of his computer activities and files does not suggest any fraud,
5. Kiki’s dismissal has nothing to do with the Comprehensive examination, I believe he may have passed the first examination; for several reasons beyond my capacity, the graduate division requested his dismissal sometime in March of 2003,
6. Notice of his withdrawal from school was sent to all external agencies on May 20, 2004. I remember clearly we notified the INS, AES, Sallie Mae, and other external agencies of his withdrawal,
7. Professor Tommelein was not acting alone when she dismissed Kiki on May 21, 2004, the purpose of Tommelein’s letter was to make Kiki go away so that it seem Kiki withdrew on his own accord, that same trick has been played on several students.
Now that I have cleared the air, I hope people can now concentrate on the right issues and stop passing wrong judgment.

If a black man is hustling on the street, white people call him names, wrap him up in all sorts of issues and throw him in jail. If the black man tries to be educated, you white people discriminate against him and set a glass boundary to limit his accomplishments. If the black man tries to get a good job, white people set him back either in position or salary wise. If a black man is working hard to earn a living, white people find a way of running him aground. If a black man has his own mind, it is called arrogance and being too independent, for a white man in the same situation it is called maturity and leadership qualities! Is there anything that is considered good for the black man other than jail and third generational slave status? When will all these stereotyping go away, and when will white dog kissers learn that black people deserves equal treatment.

If the black man tries to get justice through the Court system, it is quite unfortunate that the Court system is also a white man’s institution purposely set up for legal disenfranchisement of the blacks. I just don’t see how the 49ner Court will not toss this case, because it challenges the foundation and core of white supremacy. It is note worthy that our fore fathers did not ask to be brought here; they were forcibly brought into this horrible mess. Those whose iron fist rule of force gravely injured our fore fathers should at least embrace the generation of those whose hard labor in the cold, sun, rain and snow help make America a great nation. Why give mock admissions, if you are not going to let the student complete his education, or at least support him adequately to ensure his success. Remember this student may have take out student loans to attend Berkeley, it doesn’t strike me as someone who came from a rich back ground.
Many more questions bug my mind than answers, will white people stop making incorrect preemptive judgment about black people. History has always vilify those who used that 5 Mega tons of atomic bomb to kill an ant. The actions of UC Berkeley in this case are not any better.

I cannot recall any educational or homeland security law permitting any University to discriminate against a student academically and to dismiss a doctorate student based on such flimsy grounds as we have in the situation.

I use to look down on black students when they claim they have to work twice as hard to earn the same respect as a typical white student. This case has certainly made me look beyond the imaginary lines of traditional stereotypes against black people. How can any student perform at their best if they are constantly detracted, harassed, and discriminated against? If a white student could take the comprehensive examination as a take home exam, there is no reason why a black student should not be allowed to postpone the same exam. Why would any right thinking human being recommend him for dismissal after hearing a testimony from Professor Tommelein that he was not required to take the comprehensive examination, I am still waiting for UCB to clarify that aspect because whatever junk they are peddling about this student does not make any sense at all.

I am an education psychology major, and I can tell you categorically that it is very hard to pass a test that is directed towards a different audience. The mindset of a PhD student is different from that of a D. Eng. Student, I am sure professor Tommelein and her cohorts know this. I can only conclude that the test was administered to his exclusion on purpose. It is not going to be that difficult to remember that you have only one black male student in your doctorate program, and you probably wouldn’t forget in a hurry that that same student is the only doctor of engineering student in the mix. It is either he was not required to take the comprehensive examination, or he was grossly discriminated against. Either way, the University got it wrong. Even if the professors got it wrong, the University should have reinstated him into graduate standing and nullify Tommelein’s dismissal before requesting him to retake the comprehensive examination.

Kiki, I pray for you specially this morning on this matter. May the unfailing hands of God rescue you from another miscarriage of justice, may the God that parted the Red Sea before Moses show you his wondrous works once again.
May the rock of ages, the stone that stuned Goliath in the Hands of David, fight for you in this matter. As the day approaches, may you find favor grace and mercy before all creatures. May you be victorious, may your adversaries be astonished and be put to shame in Jesus Name, Amen.
